[Eng Below] 当事者さんのお母様からのメッセージ

2018 is the forth year since Purple Day has been officially celebrated in Japan. The concerned events have become increasingly influential and currently attract a large number of people to participate.

Ms. Yokoseki Hiroko, a mother of our patient, has sent her message about her experience of participating in Purple Day. And the message has been placed in the official magazine of Nami no Kai (Japan Epilepsy Association).

Ms. Yokoseki has attended the events of Purple Day in Nagoya this year as a helper. As her message states, she enjoyed the events and hopes that she could attend more Purple Day events in more cities. She attempts to propagate more knowledge about epilepsy to the public and dispel people’s prejudice against epilepsy patients thorough Purple Day.

We would like to work with patients and their families to raise further consciousness from society. And we hope that patients and their families will continue positively participating into events and become centre stuffs in Steering Committee of Purple Day in the future.
